StormSafe is a family owned and operated company in Texarkana, TX. We take pride in being able to provide families with the peace of mind that comes with owning a storm shelter. Our hope is that no family has to worry when inclement weather occurs. 

We partner with a leading manufacturer of prefabricated steel storm shelters, safe rooms and survival bunkers that are FEMA compliant. As a Storm Shelter Producer Member for the National Storm Shelter Association (NSSA), our storm shelters are held to the highest engineering and ethical standards in order to produce storm shelters capable of withstanding the strongest tornadoes ever recorded.

They are both designed to be equally safe and both withstand an EF5 tornado. Most people have a preference and we provide tornado shelters for any application and would love to give you a free consultation on which may be best for your situation.

The best time to buy a tornado shelter is before tornado season strikes. The slow season for our partner shelter manufacturers is September through February, which makes it the ideal time to buy a shelter. Waiting until the first tornado hits may be too late.

Yes, if you move or need to relocate your above ground storm shelter StormSafe can help for a fee.

Yes, StormSafe will deliver any shelter that is purchased. We offer free delivery with a 50-mile radius of Texarkana, so please be aware that there may be a fee depending on your location.

Yes, a customer may install the shelter they purchase. However, we recommend letting our trained staff install them.

Our Extreme model shelters all come with a 32″ door opening and are ADA accessible.

Yes. StormSafe has partnered with a leading manufacturer and all unit designs have been tested by Texas Tech Wind Research Institute. All units are rated to withstand EF5 rated winds of 250MPH+.

Concrete shelters hold moisture and leak and all of our steel storm shelters are designed with a proprietary leak test that eliminates the concerns for any leaking. Fiberglass shelters are only available in underground variations and not intended to resist the pressures of the Earth and will, in most cases, crack.
